Museo Miraflores is an on-site museum which is located in one of Guatemala's biggest shopping malls, Miraflores. In 2010, the Miraflores Foundation decided to showcase its unique collection with the publication of a coffee table book, Mayas de Kaminaljuyu.

 

The museum's curated catalog was compiled in over 100 pages under the concept "thrill of discovering". Each page shows pictures of the pre-Hispanic objects found beneath the area where the museum, mall, and the adjacent neighborhood reside to this day. It invites today's visitors and readers to be thrilled about discovering their millenary past.
